Nice pics, indeed! They just reinforce something that I read years ago. "Trout are a whole lot prettier than they need to be."

That is a tankMy son and I went for some early crappie fishing today. Caught half dozen keepers and this female. She was full of eggs, so she went back in the water. Easily 16". For reference, my son is 6'5 with large hands to go with his size.
Inshore saltwater is my game. Enjoy offshore but it is a much longer day.
Redfish, flounder, trout, sheepshead are targets.
I am almost 100% positive fish are extinct.
Very nice Unfortunately my favorite lake for spring time Crappies, froze out this winter. DNR had an airiator but it it was perhaps to late. Dead fish floating all around the lake. Hopefully it killed all the carp also.My son and I went for some early crappie fishing today. Caught half dozen keepers and this female. She was full of eggs, so she went back in the water. No, the worst part is….. Ohio.I know I never do!
Easily the worst part about moving from Michigan to Ohio. Trout are much less accessible here.
I'll never understand the carp hate. Give me a 20lb+ fighting machine over a 1lb insert fish.Very nice Unfortunately my favorite lake for spring time Crappies, froze out this winter. what type of lures do you make?Bass fisherman here in Virginia. I have two big assorted bins full of "kits" and I make my own lures! Costs pennies on the dollar compared to Bass Pro, Cabela's, etc... Been making my own lures since I was a teenager in the 70's up in the Adirondack Mtns of northern New York!
