You know it buddy!!!!!!!! I can't wait to take this out. I'm downright giddy. They wouldnt let me test it out on the course when I head out today though lol.

Good write up on the putter testing Yoc, we're going to be DART mallet brothers from now on! As TC said, if you miss a putt inside of 6 feet (even 10) with the DART putters it simply was a miss read, plain and simple. Those things are money putters and I am very excited to get mine in and get started with it.

Same here Biggsy. I'm so ready to get back to the Odyssey. I love my putter now but it was so comfortable seemed like it was made for me at setup.

I love all of the work you guys put into choosing your equipment and representing your OEM. I can't wait until these putters start to be delivered and unboxed.

Look at all the work that went in to choosing a putter. Just imagine what it will be like when it's time to choose irons, drivers, fairways, and a golf ball. I am definitely going to need a fiting specialist to make some of those decisions.

Yeah I hear you there ddec, I hope that we're able to take advantage of some kind of fittings to help us choose the rest.

Lol. Not sure my heart could take another club selection without some more help haha.

I wonder if the rest of the equipment will be pieced together like that or if it will be a 1 shot deal where we order our driver,fw, irons, wedges at the same time. I'm sure that stuff is probably a long way down the road.

I NEVER expected to order our putters so soon. I love the process and I know that the companies and THP have a good plan in place. I can't wait to get out there and start rolling some putts.

I like that we are doing this one piece at a time. Imagine if all 16 of us got 14 clubs and started posting pics and talking about, all the equipment would get lost in the shuffle. This way, each piece of equipment will get its proper due and be talked about and reviewed as they deserve to be.

I did not expect anything to happen this soon. I was thinking we would start picking out things in July and that would give us about a month to get used to the equipment. I think it's a great call by both companies to get the putters out early as they will be a very important piece of the puzzle in the Morgan Cup.

I agree. It gives us all a chance to give the clubs their proper attention. I think the clubs are going to be spaced out until the bag is full.

You could putt with a shovel and still win.

I like the 1 club at a time thing. I think you are right, we can really promote the product better that way. I'm very interested to see how all of this plays out. Since we now have talked to our tour rep about our first piece of equipment, what do you guys think will be next?

I prefer the rake

Don't make it hard on yourself, there's no way you're beating me, no matter what putter you choose.

I think the next step in the process might be a fitting of some sort, either on our own or through the companies.

I know if a fitting won't be a part of The Morgan Cup, I think it's a good idea for everyone to go and get fit. I am going to be fit when I get back from California. I was really intrigued by TC's thread on the fitting and I've already made the commitment to do so. I hope to learn a lot from it.

I cannot agree more, if a fitting is part of the deal, great but if it's not I strongly encourage all of us to fork over a few out of pocket dollars to be sure we're getting the right stuff. Why wouldn't we? I don't have any idea what a fitting costs, but even if it's $100 or so wouldn't it be worth every single penny? I know for a fact that I'll be doing it before I place any orders for anything from this point on.

I plan on going through a fitting process, whether it's provided for me or not.

Same here. I tried with the putter fitting lol. But you know, I'm extremely confident I picked the right putter. My mind is at ease and I'm feeling good after a good nights sleep on it. I think a proper fitting is a must for the rest of the clubs though.

I'm ready to rock n' roll when it comes to the next step. I know exactly what I'm ordering when the time comes. No waiting! I lead by example.

I am pretty close to knowing what I would ask for pending our options.

He's a HUGE Mickelson homer so he'll be just asking for exactly what's in Phil's bag top to bottom. Good call dude, I know you can game those clubs, specs and all!

I am a serious golfer.

I have some more testing to do, especially with driver shafts, before knowing what I'm going to want in my bag for the Morgan Cup. It's still tough to start making decisions because we're not sure what exactly will be available to us. All in good time I suppose.

Unfortunately, I won't be out on the course this weekend (cold and rain in Pittsburgh all weekend), but I did take a big step today in my preparation for the Morgan Cup. I finalized a few events on my summer tournament schedule and I'm now up to five really solid PA Golf Association and Western PA Golf Association events that will include some good courses and really good competition and will have me firing on all cylinders and ready for competition in August.
