I guess I am not in on the short shorts trend like everyone else in here. I think mine are all like 9 or 10 inch inseam and are above my knees. I feel like I may be missing out on something now.

When shorts are too short is like the old supreme court comment on pornography, hard to define but you know it when you see it.
I like them just above the knee. Too short and you get burned back of legs sitting on hot cart seats down here in the summer, or easily burned upper thighs. I also don't want to see anyones non-golf balls.

Generally, a 9" inseam is where I land. Shorts should land right at the top of the knee when standing. I don't like them too tight, but also not trying to wear a skirt. I have kilts, and will wear them when I feel like it

7" are good for my short self. 8" are OK but that is as long as I will buy.
10 inches and above your knees? How high are you hiking those up??
Not at all, maybe I just have long legs, most shorts are Under Armour so maybe the fit.

I find my shorts getting shorter and shorter, but they have to have a little room and definitely have to stretch.
Being 5'7", 7 inch inseam shorts look great. Longer inseams look too long on me.

7 to 8 inches is good for me. Don’t want shorts that are flapping round my knees!
At 6’ 1” I need the 9’s
12" inseams hit me just above the knees. I don't sag my shorts, but I don't wear them up around my neck either.
Back in the day, Stubbies or Hard Yakka were the brand of choice around my way.
7” is kind of too short. If they are that short , you need to be in good shape.

I was told today that I’m already “too tan” for this time of year in Ohio.
Same, I can do 7 or 8. 9 starts going to the bottom of the knee and looking baggy and 10 is way too long.
I can tell you from the 2023 Morgan Cup, you will be living very dangerous with 7" shorts
