You’ll know what room I’m talking about on the tour, but man that ingredient room smells so nice.
That’s a fun tour
Staying there our last night with the guys. That hole pictured last tee box is out to right. Elevated blind tee shot but fairway is very wide. Par 5. Hole 12. Bud who passed and had made a couple trips over with me had in his will he wanted his ashes spead on 12 tee box. Following year we made a trip over with his 2 brothers and spread them. Was out to Old Head today and tried to get to the golf course. This is as far as I could get.

Entrance is through a medieval wall and tower.
Wind was a steady 20mph with rain but groups were playing. Guess you travel and pay, you play regardless.

very trueYou’re doing this all wrong. You need to play test rounds to know which ones to hit again on your golf trip.
I typically suggest that a SW Ireland trip should be your first trip over. A real nice group of courses and ton of fun. Lahinch sits on the North side of entry point of a SW excursion, so is typically the first round or possibly 2nd if Doonbeg in royayion too. Then rest your bones in Killarney for a few days and play Ballybunion, both, Tralee, Waterville, maybe Dooks and conclude with a round at Old Head. It's a toss up between Lahinch and Ballybunion as to the best. Old Head for the one who is inspired by visual appeal will shine brightest.Only pic I could get of Lahinch today.
It looks more dramatic than Ballybunion.

Looks like a perfect day for golf!
Have played both. Playing 1st round August at Doonbeg. Couldn't play Lahinch as member event all week. That was preferred but Doonbeg very nice too.I didn't get down the coast far enough for Doonbeg or Kilree. Anyone play those?
Everyone says this never happens. Over 70* and not much wind today.Looks like a perfect day for golf!
