let's get back to Sligo. I think that this is one of the best looking golf shirt I've ever seen. part of the Sligo Asia section, which I was told was slightly bigger than the regular Sligo sizing.

Thanks JB. do you by any chance have a closet shot of your Sligo collection anywhere? can you pm me a link when you get a chance. when did Sligo start coming out with golf apparel? I'm gonna read the THP review again. :)
 
I dont have a closet shot of just Sligo apparel because I have a lot of brands, but they are my favorite for golf clothes. They came out a few years back and going off of memory here, I think it was 2004.

We have reviewed them a few times with the different lines.
 
I am looking for a nice pair of golf pants. I need to update my style. What amount should I expect to spend for something nice and colorful, yet in style? How many times do you guys wear a pair of pants before retiring them? Two or three times or more? I am curious as I don't want to break any unwritten fashion rules.
 
Im confused about the second part.

As to the first part, you can find good golf pants for very little depending on how hard you want to search and what brands/materials you want to wear.

Im not sure by what you mean with retiring them? Do you mean washing them? After every round. If you mean getting rid of them? Properly taken care of apparel can last years.

sorry about the confusion. I was wondering if it was something like once you were seen wearing it a few times, ya couldn't wear it again. I will probably purchase several pairs and put them in a strict rotation and then get rid of them. Of course, I would wash them after each time I wore them. Lol

Oh no, I wear the same clothes all the time. I like new apparel, but I also like my older stuff.

That is great. My way was going to get expensive! I think I have worked with womens fashion accessories far too long. Many of my customers won't be seen with the same purse more than once. I am glad this isn't something like that. Lol

wow. that would be awesome. I think tour players that are sponsored do this. if I had the funds, I would do it but unfortunately, I only have a certain amount I can spend each month.

In all fairness, I could wear a different golf shirt for about 90 days in a row without re-use, but I definitely save my clothes and take care of them the best I can.

when I saw the Robinson (black) and that Gavin (white), I knew I was making an order. along with the Tour buckle and it's over. I just had to pick 2 more shirts to get free shipping (pics to follow of the other two). :)

I think you should get one man. it's an awesome shirt. can't wait to sport it.
 
I have been looking at the Sligo site and I just can't pull the trigger. I don't know what I expected but was hoping for more plaid. I did like the green plaid and the cut of the legs looks right. I like a flared or boot cut leg. This is gonna take some time to find a few pairs I like. I now realize why I let my wife pick out my clothes. I am too indecisive.
 
Played like sh!t, looked great....this better not be a trend or I'll be playing in jorts! Here's a post round shot of the get up today, looking now I probably should have worn a white belt. Had to go with an under armor shirt since it was only 65 today, great fall golf weather though!

I know, the thing was though I wore it to work minus the hat, white shoes, and under shirt so I just kept the same belt on since I didn't go home. I'll get better!

On a different note, blind9 has adidas buckles for $20. I want them all. Love the red and green one.
