What did you shoot today?

37/44 for an 81 on a course I’ve never played. Swing got a bit loose on the back 9 but was able to recover on 17/18.

Brand new course never played before went 48/45 I think it was for a 93. Had some meh drives but my irons were solid.

80 today. Went up north and played with @Tenputt. Glad we made it happen.

Hit a great drive on one and then didn’t drive well after that. Irons and putter were good though.
That was around a 320 yard drive, because mine measured out at 290 and you were way past me.

I shot a really ugly 86 today. Not any aspect of my game was solid. I had been feeling like I was so close and now I am feeling like the wheels came off. So discouraging…

It will come back. It will also help to have your own lob wedge.

Fun course, I’d definitely play it again.

1-under 70. I played from the 6,300-yard tees, which is comfortable for this old but well taken care of 67-year-old body. One of these days I'm going to shoot my age.
Awesome stuff

On Friday me and 2 buddies went to play Chambers Bay. Had a old high school buddy caddie for me. Never have played there before. It was windy but perfect weather. Shot a 94. Not my best but considering the course and the wind. I will take it. Before the round I broke my 3 wood at the range. Hit one shot with it and hit the rope on the ground and boom. So there was a few shots I had no other choice 4 iron and hope. Great day either way.

First outing with the new irons I was fit into last week. 2 over on the front, 5 over on the back for a 79 at Laguna Seca. Clubs were fantastic, I think we are gonna have a very beautiful relationship.

44/43 87

Not sure if it was the 2+ inches of rain last night...Cart path only or the wind, just couldn't get anything going IMG_6423.jpeg

Terrible 81 from the forward tees at my dad's course. Hosel rockets, unreceptive greens, weird grasses that rolled at different speeds. Just could not get anything going.

To much rain yesterday to play today, got a buch of spring duties done today around the house and took a long bike ride with the bestest half

I got off to a decent start with a 47 on the front. I was pretty happy with that on a course I've never played in some pretty wet conditions. Then the back 9 happened. Double, triple and quad bogies to start. I had a couple of good holes, but never really recovered with a 55 and 102 total.

Edit: Just looked at the stats. I only missed 1 fairway on the front and only hit 2 on the back.

43/38 at a different course than where I’m a member. Great change of pace. Played well. 1 birdie. 1 chip in from a bunker. 1 30’ putt from off the green for par to finish the round. Finished the back 9 birdie followed by 4 pars.

IIRC I was 46/46 today at Cholla. My game had been trending better with each round played, but then 6600 yards happened 🤷‍♂️

38-41 for 79 this Afternoon. Tough course but I enjoy the challenge.

Actually shot 77 yesterday.

Took 5 birdies to do it though. hahaha

46/43 89 I'm regressing.

That 43 on the back was pretty good if I had made a couple putts.

Driver felt much better as I hit all 7 fairways on the back! IMG_6433.jpeg

Rollercoaster round, eh Jman?
Just a couple dumb tee shots. Poor choices and lazy swings will eff your world on my course.

Way more good than bad. Irons and wedges are really good.

46/49 = 95

Between the really tough and longer course with the added cold and wind, the course won! Course is just over 6100 yards for the white tees. Tough layout and not enough pars in there and a few doubles and a triple doesn't help! Also had to wait like every shot for most of the round which also didn't help much!

42/41 in a 3-4 club wind. That was a character builder.
