39 to win my weekly league match- pretty happy with it considering it rained like a mother out here.

very cool JC, congrats! it just gets better from here. trust me, we will be seeing your first sub 90 round soon i bet. keep up the good work!
 
Finally broke 100 today!!

Finally broke 100 today!!

When I began in February I was shooting 125-130. I've been moving steadily downward in my scoring. Earlier in the week I had my first <50 on any 9 holes with a 49.

Today I played in a BLUSTERY 25+ MPH wind @ 95 degrees and humid- and had a 52 on the front and a 47 on the back for a 99!! :D

Had my 3rd birdie... a 138 yard par 3 that I drove to within 2' of the pin and sank for a bird. Also had 2 pars on par-4's. My round was hurt by 2 penalty strokes, 2 snowmen and 2 7's.

NEVERTHELESS- I was VERY pleased. Next goal- break 90 which was my season goal when I began in February; to break 90 on a semi-regular basis.

We'll see- but I'm STOKED tonight!

Shot a 38 / 38 for a 76. I think I'm dreaming to be honest.

Hit about 12-13 fairways...didn't count...some with driver, some with the 3W. Hit about 13-14 GIR. On the front nine I went PAR, PAR, PAR, PAR, PAR, BOGEY, PAR, BOGEY, PAR. Back nine was PAR, BOGEY, BOGEY, PAR, PAR, PAR, PAR, PAR, PAR.

I'm pretty happy! lol

Broke 80 for the Second Time

I broke 80 (79) for the second time ever..
It was at our local muni.... 6232/70.4/121
Scorching hot at 97* with a heat index around 105*

FIR - 7
GIR - 8
putts - 32
Birdies - 1
Pars - 10
Bogeys - 6
Double Bogey - 1
3 Jacks - 0
Ball Played - B330RX

Most notable moment - 18th hole, 522 yards. a lot of traps..Best drive of the day at 275 right down the pipe, Best 3W ever at 247 to pin high left 15 feet, 2 putt for birdie. Only thing that would have iced the cake would have been an Eagle on the last hole as I have yet to attain one of those.

The other funny thing is that I consider myself a short knocker at about 245 yard drives and a 148yd 7I... I shot -1 on the Par 5's hitting them all in regulation....Guess you dont have to hit long to score well..

Kudos to the people that suggested the B330RX (JB) :clapp:.. this ball rocks
I will be playing it on Saturday at the RTJ SChoolmaster course...
I am pumped for the weekend!!:blob::alien2::blob::alien2::blob:

Played out in Pleasant Hill at Country Creek - The Rock course. Open and forgiving but several LONG par 4's and quite a few water holes- and the wind was pretty brutal today as you know if you were out in Kansas City!
 
That's the second of the three courses right Pinged? And it goes across the street? I played that one right after it opened but that was the only time. We usually played the first course. I haven't been out there since they opened #3 up. In fact, I don't think I have played it since around '92 or '93.

The Quarry starts across the road to the north- then returns back south for the back nine. The Rock begins and ends on the south side of the road. And Hoots Hollow is our further west across another road.

I played the Quarry a few days ago with my wife- shot a 105. Played the Rock today at 99. Have not played Hoots Hollow yet. It's the newest.

Congratulations Pinged, I know how it feels You did It a lot faster than me, its taken me 3 1/2 years but this year I think I will have my share of breaking 100 heck, the last 2 wed's in a row I've shot 97, 97.
 
95 on thursday

Friday was GREAT!!! I shot my all time low 88, everything seemed to click and I felt great on the course. I even missed a few putts that should have dropped Lip outs and cups having the edges turned up :angry: but over all it was a solid round! oh yeah and I only used 1 sleeve of balls B330-RX!! I only lost 2 the entire round!!
 
31 on a par 27 course. Irons felt really good today, nice solid contact but the aim was off just a touch, didn't start hitting the green right away off the tee but finished the last 5 holes with 4 GIR's.
 
Shot a 91 today with two triples. Short game and putting were good, but erratic tee shots killed me.
