Im still a little in shock that a city with no ties to a guy (that I know of) would give him a key to the city for just not getting into trouble again since being released from prison for murdering animals 2 years ago. Really?

Maybe Mark Cuban needs to take control

EDIT: I forgot to add a lol at the end of my post. hehe

A city with no ties to the guy and whos the starting QB of a major in division rival. Makes no sense at all. Maybe when the Eagles come to Dallas next year they can throw a friggin parade for him too. He can walk the streets and kiss puppies and babies. lol

Perfect capper to a bad week had by the city of Dallas....

I saw on yahoo a view of one of the seats for the Superbowl. Makes me hate that stadium even more.

Why? I sat in one of the seats for the Thanksgiving game but I felt no ill will after. But I did want to fight all the Saints fans and it was all because of the stupid who dat cheer.

The had a vertical view of 1/4 of the field lol. I just wanted to say something bad about Dallas after you made reference to my boy Cutler haha. I'm not very creative this morning.

My GF is a Saints fan. I tried to tell her the Saints copied that cheer. Copiers.

Oh I got ya. So they sold seats without a view of the field? Is that a problem? haha Cutler George will be fine. right? lol

Hell the whole team was asking for his autograph after the game might as well give him the key to the city.

LOL

Remember when the Packers won their last two games then beat the Eagles then beat the Falcons then beat Bears and then beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl?

That was pretty cool.

How about that Mark Sanchez? He's quite the young man.

dude, is this your first post here since the Super Bowl? You must've consumed some serious amounts of High Life and cheese sticks. You're just waking up aren't you?

Whats funny to think about it the Green Bay MVP could be DeSean Jackson. If he doesn't take that punt back to the house against the NY Giants there is a very good chance the Packers don't make the playoffs.

My buddy, who is a Bucs fan, told me if there wasn't a pass interference call on Winslow on their last game that the Bucs are in the playoffs and then who knows...I just humored him.

No way, Dude. I posted here after the game, but everyone was too busy watching foreign sports like soccer and hockey, so I took my Packers show on the road.

And I can think of about six things that would have given the Packers the North title and a #2 seed. Now he may be the MVP for not being able to get away from Desmond Bishop in the playoff game.

who watches soccer? and why is that word in the NFL thread?

Kevin, it was just something interesting I was thinking about, not a shot at the packers, who I was cheering for all playoffs.

This has been getting some play, especially among bitter Vikings and Bears fans because Peter King wrote the same thing. The problem with that thinking is there are always a bunch of little things over the course of a season that if changed with hindsight would have affected the final outcome. Hell, if Megatron's catch in the end zone against the Bears at the start of the season was called a TD, the Packers win their division.

There's no doubt that run back helped the Packers. Just like other events helped or hindered throughout the course of the season.

With Shockey, isn't usually a couple of half years?

I just hope these greedy owners get over themselves in the next week before they reach this new deadline. Its going to look pretty bad if after all this mediation, they can't reach a deal.

Tiki Barber is planning on coming back.

From the AP:

Running back Tiki Barber plans to return to NFL
(AP) – 56 minutes ago
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — After four years in retirement, former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber is looking to get back into the NFL.

It won't be with the Giants, though.

The Giants acknowledged on Tuesday that the 35-year-old Barber has asked to be taken off the reserve-retirement list and that they will release him once the league allows it. Teams cannot make roster moves during the current extension of the CBA talks.

Barber is the Giants' career rushing leader with 10,449 yards, 22nd best in league history.

SI.com first reported that Barber filed paperwork with the NFL to end his retirement.

"We wish Tiki nothing but the best, and when we are able to make the transaction, we will release him from our reserve-retired list," the Giants said.

Barber retired after the 2006 season, the year before the Giants' stunning Super Bowl win over the previously undefeated New England Patriots. He had two years left on his contract when he left the game for a job in television, so the Giants still hold his rights.

Barber his second career with NBC fizzled and he did not help himself with New York metropolitan area fans, criticizing coach Tom Coughlin and former teammate Eli Manning, saying the quarterback lacked some leadership skills.

Barber was booed by fans this past season when Giants unveiled their ring of honor in their new $1.6 billion stadium.

In its report, SI.com said Barber reportedly left his wife of 11 years, Ginny, for 23-year-old Traci Johnson, a former NBC intern. Ginny was eight months pregnant at the time. Soon after, NBC cited its morals clause and terminated Barber's contract, which reportedly paid him more than $300,000 per year.

In June 2010, the New York Post reported Barber was broke and couldn't pay his divorce settlement with his ex-wife.
