I think they are saying I’m the Combustible one, but I can be Calm too.Now we just need to figure out who is who!
Ground rules will be set and friends don’t let friends “Hot Bath” together lol
2018 Graphite Challenge at PGA National. I was a late addition when someone had to drop out. We received a ton of swag, and a full set of Ben Hogan irons with UST Mamiya Recoil Proto shafts. They are the all black ones with the THP logos set up like a bear claw. I didn’t play very well, and the conditions were very wet, but we had a freaking blast playing some golf in the weather and just hanging and talking about golf and life. It was fantastic.
How am I just now finding out about this video? I think we need a Fairway Hunter sequel.2018 Graphite Challenge at PGA National. I was a late addition when someone had to drop out. 2019 Distance Bash at Hammock Beach. This event was driver focused and we were given a bunch of swag and a Cobra SpeedZone driver with a UST Mamiya shaft. I was fit for the LINQ gunmetal which was brand new at the time. Totally changed the way I approach golf and made me learn how to hit a driver. Great group of guys and we had a blast. It was the last experience before covid hit. My play was also not great but I had flashes. It was the event I went to that really made me feel like I could be more confident playing.
And the Distance Bash is what gave rise to whatever this was…BigDill: Fairway Hunter
I can’t say enough good things about the positive impact that THP, UST Mamiya and @DannyLe have had on my golf game and life generally. I am orders of magnitude better because of them.
I’m Mexican and can be “passionate” at times. I also always carry a knife with me so we’ll keep them guessingI think they are saying I’m the Combustible one, but I can be Calm too.
If @JDax is the Calm one, this duo should be funI’m Mexican and can be “passionate” at times. I also always carry a knife with me so we’ll keep them guessing
First duo to brandish knives with custom UST Mamiya handles. If @JDax is the Calm one, this duo should be fun
Team names on the cutting room floor should be its own threadNaming this one was a blast.
Lots of Gaslit references but went with this one
Wasn’t that 2019 right before the world shut down?2018 Graphite Challenge at PGA National. I was a late addition when someone had to drop out. …….. but I can be Calm too.
A little late but just seeing this.
Excited for this one!!Getting close.
I was sold on the All In shaft the first time I used it. Speed control improved greatly. I've said it a hundred times, I never would have thought a shaft in a putter would make that much difference, but it really really does.A little late but just seeing this.
The only UST Experience I can think of was Shaft Up #1 at Hidden Creek. I am trying to think but I don't recall being a part of any of the others. I make my way up to DFW several times a year and usually I get to play a round with Danny while I'm there. He's amazing and I learn so much each time I get to tee it up with him or just be around him and pick his brain.
My history with UST goes all the way back to the I-Rod graphite hybrid shaft that I used when I started playing had it in every hybrid I owned. It was swapped out for the Recoil hybrid shaft and now with the LIN-Q White hybrid that is in my King Forged Tec 4H.
Recoils have been in my bag since 2015. I needed the relief from steel and the Recoil 95's checked all the boxes. I used the Wedge Protos for my wedges as well.
Driver and woods I loved the Proforce V2 at the top of the bag. I tinkered with the Elements Chrome for a while, and I had the LIN-Q purple before I was fitted into the 1of1 LIN-Q proto in my Paradym.
Putters I put the Allin shaft in all my putters as soon as I found out how much better they make me putt. This one is tough because it's hard to explain, but it offers stability and smoothness at the same time. I know where the putter head is at all times, and it has really allowed me to clean up longer putts.
Overall "I'm a Danny Le Guy" and the UST products complement my game so well.
