Would love to go out to Bozeman too. We go out west usually every year but mostly go to Telluride, Wolf Creek and Silverton (heli skiing) in Colorado. Sometimes head up to BC.

Vermont does have some great skiing as well. Jay, Sugarbush, Stowe.

Looking forward to hit back to hitting the gym
We are heading to Big Sky sometime after the New Year with our two oldest adult children. I haven’t skied there in almost 30 years and everyone I know that has been recently raves about it. My wife’s sister and family live in Bozeman so we may stay with them for a night as well.

4 day lift tickets run in that $540 to $780 range so we bought IKON season passes for my two kids and myself as we are all hoping to get at least 20 ski days in this year out West. The IKON pass is cheaper the sooner in the year you buy it and I think the price goes up in another 6 days.

I haven’t been very consistent with my cardio workouts so it’s time for me to start my workouts on my Skier’s Edge which will be painful at first. :)

Ikon Base here. Planning trips to Mt Bachelor and SLC this year, plus I might be able to sneak in some bonus business tag on ski days in SLC and WA if I'm lucky. Also Ikon finally added some PA access to the pass at Blue Mountain and Camelback, so I'll be able to get up to 10 additional days in there. Should be able to easily get my money's worth this season (y)

We are entering our first winter as empty nesters so my ski days will rise dramatically. I have two trips planned out West and I’m sure I’ll get at least one more on the schedule. We used to do a guys Super Bowl weekend to Bachelor each year from about 2001 through 2016 and those are some amazing memories.

I was only on the hard pack in MN last winter so I’m ready to get the powder boards back out there!

Dayummm those SkiLogik graphics are hot. That pair on the left is FAT with a capital F! I'm skiing my fattest skis at 102 these days. I have a pair of 117's but they need new bindings and I'm hesitant to drop the cash money on that when I use them so infrequently. The 102's are plenty of float for 95+% of resort days.

was actually looking at flights out to Bozeman this season. MT is a place I would love to check off my list.

THP get together at Bridger?

Big Sky terrain and size is unreal, overall vibe and cost, not so much. If you go to Bozeman to ski and don't go to Bridger for at least one day, you're making a mistake.

In my name, so I have to post here :). Love to ski, now love golf. Looking forward to this winter, hopefully 1/2 as good as last year…

Assuming you're in Laramie? My brother lives down there and I'm considering a trip down this winter, worth it? I prefer mom and pop sort of hills, as long as there is good snow. My college roommate is a Keystone season pass holder, so I'll probably head down there too.

Working on a trip up to SLC this year. Haven’t been there for several years as I’ve been stuck East coast skiing. I’m in AZ now so it’s a bit easier.

I hope to ski this year. If the winter is anything like the summer New England will be buried in snow.

Hoping for snow here too. Last season was abysmal for it...it was basically 45* every other day here. All while out west got record numbers.

My son and I expect to do some last minute storm chasing trips to Bridger in February and March. I love the laid back vibe there, it reminds me of the way a lot of the resorts were 30+ years ago.

They are Fat in more than one way. 191cm with a 167/143/160 mm profile.:) They had to bend the brakes when they mounted the Markers because nobody makes anything that wide. The attention to detail on the top skins gives me a lot of joy!

Not sure when the last time you were there, but sadly it is heading the same direction Big Sky went, not the locals hill it used to be. Not sure locals even exist in Bozeman anymore to be fair.

That said, it's still awesome up there. Let me know when you're coming and bring your beacon!

Used to be. Used to skip class and ski the ‘boat. Snowy range (aka icy range) is ok for small families but if your a powder hound head for the ‘boat.

Now frequent western Wyoming and northern utah. Also small mom and pop areas.

Beaver Mountain? Spent a couple days up there a few years ago, really enjoyed it. Didn't hurt that it was nuking the whole time we were up there.

Nice collection of boards. I skied for 12 years. My dad got me started in both golf and skiing when I was 5 years old. When I was in high school I started snowboarding. I knew snowboarding was "IT" for me since I surfed, skateboarded, and skied. Haven't touched skis since. I still would possibly try skiing again, but it I don't go to the snow much anymore even to snowboard, so it is a long shot. Lol.

Yep, I skate and wakeboard too, so have always snowboard.

Was looking at that picture after I posted it. Still have the pow surfer on the far left. Broke the next one in. Sold the splitboard when I upgraded. Next after that is broken but was replaced with the same board. Next one is my rock board now. Broke the next one. Next one is tried because the base is trashed. Gave the one on the far right to a kid that used to play for me and was getting into snowboarding.

All that said, I don't have any less boards now, will have to take a pic of the updated quiver.

Have a grassroots Pow Surfer as well. So fun in the right conditions. Looks like about 35 days in VT this year and two trips to Jackson Hole. First one splitboard only and not at the resort. The second with my son and some at the resort, some backcountry, side country and a targhee session hopefully.

Still waiting on my boards to arrive from Europe this season

Ooh, that Amplid is sick! What size is it?

Pow surfing is the best, but yeah, conditions are critical. I don't have a sled yet, so usually involves a LOT of work, but always worth it. One of my friends from college lives in Driggs so we go down and tromp around Teton Pass every winter, it's awesome up there. As close as it is, I should really go more often.

Quiver porn
By this quiver, I'm guessing you don't ski with less than 4" of fresh :ROFLMAO: Sick setups. I really love the wolf graphic ones (what are they?) and the Wildcats. Been very curious about those.

I'll have to post my quiver tonight!

I’ve been on the Amplid program for 4 years now. I started with their splitboards and started riding their reg decks about 2 years ago. They are awesome. Last year had the singular 58 and Souly Grail 57. This season I’m teach on the Ticket 157 and pow on the Kill Switch 58. But their splitboards are still their best stuff. The are lighter then most regular shape. Use the 58/62 in those. And yes love Teton Pass. Such a great spot.

Nice collection! My skiers version of quiver porn from my Ski Logik collection. I have added two other pairs but I don't have them all in one place to take a picture.

Here’s some of my old stuff collection. Goal is to get the Burton PJ/Factory Prime race board from every season I used to race. Scored the goofy version of the PJ7 so yes that first photo is regular and goofy model. And the performer was a “pro” model as first to have a ptex base. This particular one was also used/raced at the first US Open in Snow Valley VT. Little history there. IMG_6851.jpegIMG_3778.jpegIMG_3782.jpeg

I had a Surfari that met an early demise landing too heavy on the nose, but I loved it. Been planning on getting another Amplid of some sort, but they're so damn expensive. I really need to upgrade my split, so maybe that's the way to go. I've always used Sparks bindings and hardware as a homer, but kind of want to try something different there too. If it's not broke though...

Just about time to get everything tuned up, so I'll have to snap an updated pic of my boards.
