I have to find one, my pediatrician can't see me anymore. :act-up:

Have you asked your pediatrician for a recommendation? He will probably know a doctor that can address your concerns/conditions.

I drove in to work today because the regular vanpool driver wasn't driving so the back up driver drives the vanpool and he always makes me car sick and can't drive worth beans, or he treats an 11 seater van as a go cart and zig zags through traffic...no thanks!! :banghead:

You should be seeing a regular PCP/GIM soon...I liked my Pediatrician, but I'm way too old to still keep seeing him...

I wish I could still take my son to his pediatrician, he is just too big they won't see him. The guy was awesome, a very good doctor.

My sourdough starter is about five years old. Not ancient by starter standards, but I've taken care of it and use it almost weekly. I opened it thiis morning to make the pancake sponge for lunch, and it was covered in mold. I think it's salvageable, but it's going to take some doing.

Wow. Major bummer. How does that happen? I know nothing about that stuff.

I accidentally just clicked the "Mark All Forums Read" button.

Crap. I had, like, 250 threads with unread posts.

I was out this afternoon driving around doing a few things for work. Two weeks ago I had my heater/AC blower replaced in my car for $400+. I had to go back a couple days later because it was blowing cool air. I was low on coolant. Things were fine. Had my oil changed Wednesday at an oil change place and they tell me the car is low on coolant. Say what? They topped it off.

Today I'm sitting at an intersection and I can smell coolant. Steam starts to come from the hood. Luckily I was about four miles from the service station. Called Mrs. Esox and she met me there. I'll find out Monday what this is going to cost me. I'm hoping it's just a line and not the radiator.

I've never kept a car over 100,000 miles. Took this one over that mark a month ago and I suppose now it will start to fall apart. I do not want to buy a car.

Anytime I use the starter and refeed it (take out a cup of starter, put in half a cup each of flour and water), it sits on the counter for several hours to ferment a bit and (hopefully) pick up some wild yeast in the air. Last time, it must have picked up some mold as well.

Let's hope the patient lives.

Dont you usually just use a jar as a starter.

I thought you started sourdough in a jar? Im so confused now, what had mold on it?

You can start sourdough in just about anything but metal. Mine happened to be in a big plastic tupperware container.

You seem to be getting very defensive over this Claire.

We have 2 small sized office fridges that we're "supposed" to all share, and there are 7 of us that have to share these 2 small office sized fridges. It bugs me that one person seems to go grocery shopping everyday and fills them up just for her use so the rest of us can't put anything in there for our lunches...

Another reason I'm glad I have my own fridge in my office. I didn't like sharing the company fridges because they got too full and I often found my lunch at the back of the fridge, or moved to another shelf, etc. Plus, someone once told me that their lunch bag was opened once and food was missing. I don't share my fridge with anyone. I have a dozen cans of Diet Dr. Pepper in there all the time, plus my water bottle, my lunch and some cheese sticks. There's still lots of room. :D

I wish I had my own fridge, heck, I wish I had my own office. I just sit in the corner haa haa with 6 other people :( So its really hard to make personal phone calls haa haa

That stupid Streak for Cash game that Kevin got me hooked into is driving my flipping insane! Even when I pick a sure thing it blows up in my face and in a futile attempt to get a streak going every morning I try and pick a soccer game. I hate soccer, always have and always will.:banghead:

Why do you always have to wait soo long at the doctor's office just to see the doctor?? I had her first appointment at 8:45am, and didn't see her until 9:10am. Actually, that's pretty good. Usually I end up waiting 45 minutes to over an hour in the actual room (vitals all done and everything)...

I hate that too! I was at the doctor yesterday and I had the 1st appt at 8:15, got called back at 8:30 and wasn't seen until after 9....what the heck was she doing all that time?

Today was my third visit to the doctor in 3 months, monthly follow-ups for something that I've had an issue with. So each time I would go and see her, she'd prescribe me something new. Well today, she's all out of ideas, so I'm being referred to a Pulmonologist so hopefully they'll be able to figure it out...So this means, another trip to the doctor, but not my PCP, this one will be to a specialist...
