Yup, the new Ferrari was done over 3 days and right at 10 hrs. The sorting is the hard part. Seeing it all come together is cool though. A working 8 speed transmission is just cool

I don't think I ever had a Lego kit or set when I was growing up. We just had a tub of Legos and would build boxy cars to roll at each other to see which one could withstand the most damage. We would stand on them to compress them together, but you couldn't make any repairs after a run.
 
Kids and I finally finished this project that we started during quarantine. Took us about 5 hours over the weekend, but it was some great bonding time with my 8 and 10 year olds. They love it, and now want to do the new loop coaster.

Whelp, kids have been asking me for this for a couple weeks. I said if they finished the castle, I would consider it. They finished the castle, and I made some good money flipping a pop, so I surprised them by taking them to the Lego store and letting them get it themselves. I even splurged for the motors. Hopefully it creates a core memory. They are super excited.

My soon to be 4 year old son loves Legos. Especially anything superhero related

Lets just say dad will be busy building after Santa comes.
 
While shopping for the kids the Doc and I bought eachother new sets last night 🤣

Got her the typewriter and she got me the Jurassic Park T-Rex scene
 
I have the Roman Coliseum waiting for me to work on next week.
Wife made a mistake of saying buy whatever you want.
I think it's the 3rd time since I met her that she has said those words.
I met her Nov 1996 at college. #getting old

It’s technic, with all the little pin things and whatnot. Pretty sweet, but if you make a mistake it’s a bummer haha.

The 1 my son has is a bit different it's a Lego smasher or something. You pull it back and it goes and smashes into things and the bumper falls off and you fix it and do it again.

The Technics are super sick. I want some of the supercars.


Edit: yeah it's the same one. Just looked. He has a blue one too.
