How far would you drive for a free round?

If someone wants to pay for my green fee at Pebble Beach, I'm hitting the road tomorrow! Anyone got that kind of cash?

Seriously I'd drive about 75-100 for free golf.
 
Depends on course, but likely about an hour - hour and a half, max.
 
Depends on the course and the out of pocket expense. I've traveled 2+ hours to play some nice courses.
 
I guess it would depend on the course. I would say an hour or two away

If I'm not staying over night after the round 2hrs most. I HATE to drive.
 
Well I drove 3.5-4 Hours to PAY for a round with some fellow THP'ers last year, and drove over 4 hours to PAY to play 36 in the rain and 35-40* temps the year before, so I would drive at least that far for a free round if at a decent/nice course. Oh and those was both one way times.
 
Free should be free. No cart fees, nothing. If that's the case, I'll drive a few hours. Stay overnight if I have to if it's a really nice track.
 
Depends on quality of the course and who I would be playing with. I couldn't see any more than over an hour drive.
