Just got a decent set of binoculars to view birds in my backyard. Amazing what they allow you to see, and how clear they allow you to see it!

I keep a pair of binoculars on my enclosed porch for use in checking out the birds. We've had a couple hawks in the neighborhood recently.

I think of back to the future everything I hear bird watching..

I kept grabbing my boys little binoculars, and they just weren't cutting it. From birds, to other wildlife, it's nice to have a pair handy!

Kids and I have started a list to see how many different birds we can identify in 2022. Up to 10 so far from watching out the back window.

That's such a great activity to have them involved in.

It's fun as they all get a favorite as well. My one boy loves Cardinals, my daughter Blue Jays. Fun to see them get excited seeing their favorites!

In Florida this week loving seeing all the different birds here.E1823A32-5F38-4847-B343-B79F0E49FCE2.jpeg

Had this Cooper's Hawk using my bird feeder as a bird feeder, if you catch my drift. Fine with me as long as he takes a few rodents too. Finally got a good picture of him by my front sidewalk.

Awesome photos. I really enjoy spotting and watching hawks.
This guy is really fun to watch too, because he comes in really low over the field, like a fighter jet on a low pass. So graceful and fast.

I like to spot them sitting solitary in a tree or on a power pole. And they are magnificent creatures to witness when they are in pursuit of their prey.

I always think of these guys when I say a squadron of birds:

I'll see if I can track down the photo. A friend of my wife posted "50-60 wild turkeys passing thru the backyard" the other day. The photo starts and I'm thinking "more like a dozen or so..." then they pan across the yard and Yep, probably 50+ It was pretty crazy to see...

Two Red Tailed Hawks “sharing” a branch today out in the trees behind my house. Not sure they were that friendly.

I caught the Bald Eagles flying in Chesterfield, MO (suburbs of St. Louis). There was a third but couldn’t get him in the picture.02DD9372-BD7A-468D-A1FD-B16B473FCEC2.jpeg

The usual early spring birds have been here the last 2 weeks, so robins and red-winged blackbirds out and singing in the morning.

Also saw a Bald Eagle on a quick errand with my son on Sunday. He was able to spot it while we were driving, which is always fun for them! We get them flying above our house from time to time, but not on any regular occasion, so this was a treat.
