274 day Royal Caribbean Cruise - Could you be on a ship for 9 months?

Nope, couldn't bear to be around so many people for so long.

Maybe, but I don’t think so. I started getting bored with the food and nightlife on a 5 day cruise. I think I’d go nuts the limitations

Nope. I have to work. And feed my cat.

I could go that long on a cruise ship under the right circumstances. Majority of the travel would have to be overnight so I wake up in a new port and have the day(s) to go off ship golfing, exploring, etc. I don’t want more than one day at sea and two days per week max. Food would also have to be better than the buffet. I want great sit down options and some healthy and good fast options both available. I would need a room with a balcony and high speed internet. Last but certainly not least I’d need to be able to bring my dogs!

Hell no

I think I would go stir crazy

9 hours would be pushing it for me!

I'm not much of a travel guy, and that's way, waaayyy too much peopling for me.

Assuming there were stops, and disembark once in while, 9 months would be Easy Peasy.
I spent 30 months on a carrier.

I read some where one cruise line would let live year around on their boat for $32k per person.

I think I could do it. I enjoy being on the water, and if money wasn't a concern, I'm sure I could keep myself occupied easily enough.
