That is awesome that you are a member at Ohio State! Did you play there or just taking advantage of the Alumni special?

I love Virtues! Usually make a trip there once a year! Always great, a few greens got beat up later in the year because they offer such a great stay and play. Think they said about 220 rounds the one weekend we went?

I cannot put these in any specific order, it is too hard!

  • Hideaway Dye Course
  • Hideaway Clive Course
  • Chambers Bay
  • PGA National
  • Wolf Creek
  • Dye Preserve
  • Mission Hills CC
  • Creekmoor
  • Buffalo Ridge
  • Old American

Lets see, favorite courses with limited travel golf.

7. Rawls Course (Lubbock)

Moody Gardens (Galveston)
The Tribute (north dallas)
Fazio Foothills (Austin)

That’s simply an incredible list. It’s amazing that you have had the opportunity to play the US courses that you list.

Ooooh Loch Lloyd is a good one!

Turnberry in for North Berwick

That’s an interesting switch. That much of a coin toss or does Turnberry have just something a bit sweeter than Berwick?

So true. I'd be a lying sack of :poop: if I said I never had connections. I've been a rater for 10 years now. But that never opened a door for any course on that list. Charity auctions use to be a great entree. But they have become so advertised that many with very deep pockets have taken over. Candidly, I have means but not great means, so it was a lot of work to create the open doors for a few. Meantime, And I initiated this part 24 years ago....Every year, A venture to GB&I as they let schmucks like me play their very best just by paying up front.

I love how you egg me on...I do. North Berwick is maybe my all time fave to play. It is just so neat. There are about 5 holes there that are just magic. Turnberry I have only played once. And just a few years ago so after the redo of the 9th. It is or should be very close to #1 on any list if Mr Maga weren't around.

it’s all out respect, the résumé of courses makes it easy when you get that many world class courses and you have to decide which one is better!
