Which slice is right?

Thin piled high!
 
Very thin. You can always just add another slice
 
Nothing above thin unless we’re talking bacon.
 
Shaved is nice but most grocery store delis don’t keep their slicer sharp enough to do a good job. A dull blade on the slicer just rips the meat up and you don’t get good slices that hold together.

Depends on the meat… beef and pork I like shaved or very thin. Thin for poultry.
