Here are the current (Through the 2017 WGC in Mexico) GIR percentages for the #10 ranked player in each area, on the PGA Tour. Obviously meaning there are 9 others with better percentages. So, we could fairly say this is a Top 10 percentage.

So, where do you rank in each of these categories? Are you close? Do you keep track of this stat from each distance?

Total GIR Top 10% Average: 74%

From:
Under 75 yards: 96%

Under 100 yards: 93%

100 - 125 yards: 90%

125 - 150 yards: 83%

150 - 175 yards: 77%

175 - 200 yards: 69%

200 + yards: 61%

I don't keep track from specific distances.

I try to keep track overall, but the number is horrible. Like I have mentioned before I really need to work on 140 and in. Tour pros probably beat my total on the first 5 holes.

Which distance is your strongest?

Do you keep track overall?
Not specifically. I can figure it out by putts on a given hole if it was a GIR or not but I don't keep track as I play.

According to Golfshot, in my last 20 rounds I have hit 56% of GIR

No idea but it's not close at any distance!!

I'm at 25% and dropping. I guess it's safe to say I'm not quite as good as pros at hitting greens jaja. My iron game has been a mess for a while.

According to The Grint, my recent GIR is 48.3%. It's not every round this year but it is my most recent 12.

I'm at less than 50% most rounds. 100-140 are probably my best yardages

I don't keep track either, but previous years on average it's 25-30% most rounds (max would be 5-6 GIRs). It was typically tee game/long game and penalties that kept me from hitting more. So I'd hit the green on approach shots more than 30% of the time (more like 50-75%), but they weren't GIRs.

I also have played a lot lately with my son from junior tees so I know on average of what I do at a few distances:

< 125 - 75%
125 - 175 - 50%
175 - 200 - 25%
200 + - 10%

I do not keep track of specific distances, but do overall and it's not pretty.

My past 7 rounds (since I started keeping track) I am averaging a whopping 1.3 GIR (7.1%). The actual numbers look like this; 5, 1, 0, 1, 1, 0, 1.

Woof. I am at 30% overall my last 20 rounds. Not surprisingly, my best scores tend to correlate with my better GIR days.

Looks like I need to start keeping track of my stats!

I have no idea but I'm sure it's horrendous.

Woof, the Grint tells me I'm around 20% which would explain my terrible handicap. This winter on the Sims, I've been averaging 3-5 gir per 9.

Cant say i keep track of specific distances, I keep track of GIR and thats it, no distance or anything.

My honest average is probably 30%.

I would guess around 35%,which I intend on improving this season

I keep track of just GIR's ... not specific distances. But if I were to say my strength would have to be 100 yards & in. Just like yesterday, I only hit 10/18 (55%) greens but still scored well with getting up & down and my putting. But that is one day ... I can go out tomorrow & hit more greens but not score as well. That's golf!

Game golf tracks inside 45 feet so that probably works out to a similar number
mine from all lie types. I think this is from 80 or so rounds
inside 100 yards: 76%
100-125: 59%
125-150: 56%
150-175: 46%
175-200: 40%
200-225: 29%
225-250: 14%
250+ 5%

Basically it all goes downhill once you take a hybrid out of my hand

Which distance is your strongest?
To be honest probably 145-165. That is generally 7-9 iron in my AP1's. For some reason hit my PW or GW gets in my head. I do alright from 40 and in as I have a club like the tank chipper I use.
