PSA: Toll House cookie dough recalled, linked to E. coli

I saw that too Harry. It stinks because we have some in our fridge I was going to bake tonight.
 
Bake em up & don't worry about it, you would have if you hadn't of heard about the recall.

I had some last week & no problems.
 
I am really bad about eating the raw cookie dough. I know everyone always says it's bad for you but it tastes so good! When I made cookies from scratch the other week I must have had the equivalent of 5 baked cookies worth of cookie dough.
 
Heretical thought--you could bake cookies from scratch.

Even if it were possible to bake and drop ship you cookies on the spot, the flight takes six hours.

Heck, you said you can bake your own. That takes 30 minutes, tops.

Well, I would have to bake them first... And then there's the slight worry about your blood sugar. I'd hate to kill you.

On the other hand, I do have the sourdough sponge for tomorrow's waffles underway.
 
MMM, my girlfriend makes good cookies. I tell her they are not from scratch unless she churns the butter herself.
