As many of you know, Tuscaloosa Alabama was hit by a major Tornado today. The devastation is beyond belief. Essentially it is without power and entire streets and neighborhoods are gone. I was going to post new putters today, but instead will show you some shots of town I captured off the news.
Thank you,
Craig

North Birmingham: Same Tornado

Definitely in my thoughts Craig!

Being from Oklahoma I know the chaos tornadoes create and the havoc and destruction they leave behind first hand. Most definitely in my thoughts.

thoughts and prayers out to everyone in that area. I've spent some time in Alabama for work, mostly in the Birmingham area but I have been to Tuscaloosa multiple times(roll tide!). It's the only city in the US that I received a 5 dollar parking ticket.

That is awful c3j, I spent 2 weeks there in the 90's at a seminar at the UA campus. I always thought the University to have a very pretty campus.

Wow, sorry to hear it Craig. My thoughts and prayers going your way, good luck to you.

Wow! Thats just terrible. Im guessing it was an F5? I was trying to follow it live most of the afternoon but never could see it.

Thoughts and prayers are sent my friend. We got severe weather where I am from but no where near that extent. I hope you and your loved ones are all okay.

This weather is nuts! Thoughts go out to those people. I couldn't imagine even just the cleanup from the disasters that have been happening.

I live on the South side of Birmingham and we spent 5 hrs in the basement tonight. The kids had on their bicycle helmets. It was surreal to watch it live, and then see tree's bending horizontal.
We have debris in town from Tuscaloosa which is 50 miles away. We started today with a major storm that knocked out power for 1/4 million people. The hwy 280 corridor was without power and shut down. That is like closing I85 in Atlanta. My prayers go out to all in Ga, that F5 tornado is still going east at 65mph. Last I heard, it was bearing down on Tallapoosa.

Good thoughts coming your way

Thoughts and prayers go out to all. What is up with all of these natural disasters. 2012 is fast approaching I guess.

We had more than a dozen tornadoes touch down south and east of us yesterday, fortunately most were in open fields but a few houses got hit.

Hang in there, Craig. I've been combing the Web and the damage is unreal. Glad you're OK and I hope your loved ones are as well. Keeping good thoughts here in Arkansas.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone touched by this tornado.

That is one serious looking tornado!!! I hope friends and family of everyone here is ok and safe.

Its amazing. My neighborhood came out unscathed. 1/2 Mile away, down trees, hail, broken power lines. The randomness is what is so scary. I know before I had kids, I didn't pay attention to these things. I am going to go kiss my kids, dog, and maybe my wife. Then get some sleep.

Craig I'm so happy you and your family are ok. I sent Jay a text if David was ok soon as I heard it hit Tuscaloosa and he was cutting grass at the shop! LOL My thoughts and prayers go out to people affected by the tornado!

I was following it earlier when I was watching the weather channel, but I didn't get to see all of that!

That is terrible.. my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those that have been affected!

EDIT: WOW Bridges.. that is just terrible

Scary stuff in GA too. I'm worried about some of friends up in N. GA. So much damage. I am watching Atlanta news and there are or have been tornados everywhere. Supposedly people trapped in a McDonald's restaurant in Catoosa County. State of emergency in at least 3 counties so far with several deaths reported. We are supposed to have bad weather during the night. I will be up late.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost a loved one and are affected by this tragedy. As I see more and more of this report it just makes you feel like we really don't have a say in what mother nature has planned for us.

I'm from b'ham and just got off the phone with mom's and everything is ok but I know of a few people who lost their homes.
