New from Texas

Hello. Just introducing myself, Born and raised southeast of Dallas Texas. I'll be retiring in the next couple weeks, having spent 31 years as a firefighter, and the last 13 years of that time as an Arson Investigator. I've 'played golf' since just before starting with the fire department, although I have only ever played about 6 times a year. But with retirement coming, and a couple of courses nearby, I look forward to getting better. I'll be posting a question about building a set of clubs next, looking to try the single length irons to see if I can get better.

And by the way, I'm shooting in the 104-120 range, depending on how many mulligans I give myself. Got a ways to go.
