After my driver fitting at CC, I told the fitter I wanted to check the lies on my 52/58 wedges as I was tugging them. He brought out a lie board which confirmed it. He bent them flat and much better.
I'd vote for a dynamic fitting on a lie board. Every club is different, even with the most precise manufacturing methods available these days. I remember reading an article where John Daly was doing his final fitting on a new set of clubs. He was down to the wedges, and after hitting a bunch of balls, he told the fitter to have them bent 1/2 degree flat. Daly cracked a diet Coke, and fired up a heater. The reporter asked him, "Half a degree? Seriously?" Daly told him that most golfers don't realize what a difference a tiny little tweak in lie angle could do for their games!
