Interesting choices there. Cobra copycat? curious as to why? I think they have been one of the more innovative companies in the last few years.

I'm not saying it's a fair word to use, because I honestly have not hit Cobra clubs in a very long time. But the first thing I thought of when I heard Aerojet was Aeroburner and that's where copycat came from. I imagine they have a ton of tech and are probably great clubs, but I was just going off my first word that came to my head when someone says the word Cobra to me today.

these are always interesting to me. Some of these I would have never guessed and some are really consistent

Kind of a reaction to the interest I see in my area vs this time last year and some media changes. You know I love Mizuno, and the Pro line was exciting and amazing. And sold like crazy. They lost some of their young media stars this year where last year had new excitement there. So people aren't talking about those vids and their stuff the same way. The ball has been a bit of a miss after the excitement of knowing it was coming last year. The 225s aren't as new anymore and naturally garner a little less hype with a bunch of new releases.

Outside of the Hot Metals that came out in the fall I've seen less interest than I expected around me for the rest of the new JPX line. And the drivers are cool, but not getting any attention by me either. Most places have a few on the shelves but no fitting heads so it's just become kind of a nothing release. After having so much Mizuno in my bag last year I'm still in the habit of talking them up, but there just isn't much interest. I'm sure come May when the initial marketing push from some others has worn off and more people get back in the dirt it'll pick up some.

Edit: And there are fitting days coming up at a bunch of clubs the next couple months too. Hopefully that injects some enthusiasm.

i appreciate the response. i see very little mizuno around me, so nothing much has changed there. and i wonder whether there is any additional interest in the gear sponsorship of the yt golf guys.
