I always get cardinals, blue jays, mockingbirds, etc with my feeder but my neighbors ripped up the bushes they love so now they pissed in my trees. Probably gonna poop all over my car instead of theirs for this.

Red Shouldered Hawk right outside my house today. He blended in really well.

Have to say I was kinda hoping that there was going to be one less squirrel eating out of my feeder after this...not to be.

Great picture! Shocked that squirrel didn't become a meal

I saw a hawk fly away with a squirrel. I was running a gas powered snow blower nearby so the squirrel couldn't hear the hawk!

I saw two Bald Eagles today while walking 9 at a local muni. I got a far away picture of one. It was definitely a confirmed sighting.

I spotted a young Bald Eagle yesterday afternoon. Couldn’t get a good picture.

Went to Alton/Grafton Illinois today to Eagle watch. We saw 30+ Bald Eagles. A lot of immature ones as well. I caught this one in flight and watched him dive and grab a fish. Pretty cool.

I was going through my old pictures and found this one of an Leucistic (Albino) Red Tail Hawk that was in my neighborhood in 2014. I saw him a couple of times and was fortunate enough to snap a picture. Pretty rare bird and he was cruising my humble burg.

Chickadees are climbing up and down the big (!) apple tree in my backyard, hunting in the moss for goodies. Sping is just around the corner!

Some of my favorite birds. Love their calls, and their constant action.

pileated woodpecker today. That's one big woodpecker.

One of my all time favorites. I've only seen one three times. Always seem to hear them first.

Saw a robin yesterday evening, which is usually a sign of spring in there pats. It was 60 degrees when I saw the robin.

It's in the 20's with a bit of snow on the ground this morning :(.

First robins and sandhill cranes have arrived. Love their addition to the local soundscape. (y)
Really hoping to get some photos of some sandhill cranes this summer, but we don't see them around here really.

He have a fish and wildlife area that is a resting spot for migrating sandhill cranes. In the fall, there could be 30,000 in the area.
