How often do you hit 3 wood over driver? Do you at all?
I am starting to think the driver, for me at least, should be kept in the bag unless its a wide open fairway or a par 5. For some reason I am just completely inconsistent with the driver. Some right, some left, some dead nuts straight.
Before my 3 wood snapped 2 years ago I used to hit it consistently 260-280 and much straighter than my driver. Maybe because the driver is the most expensive club in the bag we want to hit it more, but at what cost?
I currently am swinging a ping G15 serrano S shaft. I am thinking of returning it for a good 3 wood and just getting last years burner superfast to hit on the long holes. Thoughts? Am I crazy?
