It's sooo funny how you can help people out all the time with various things (free golf, free golf balls, paying for dinners or drinks, loaning others money for very extended amounts of time, etc.), but as soon as you need a favor they make you feel like you're panhandling for booze money or something. I can't bleeping stand bleeping bugs. The course has basically become unplayable in the evenings this week because their are mosquitos and gnats every bleeping where. Everytime my cart would stop there would be 2 dozen gnats and a crew of mosquitos there within seconds. It's absolutely bleeping horrible. I applied deep woods (deet filled) bug spray 4 times today and it did no good, at all. It's obsurd.
I played today from noon until around 8 in a heat advisery, hot and humid all day (but with some wind, and a good number of refreshing glasses of ice water) and I played, in black pants no less, with no issue, no discomfort at all. evening comes around and the bugs are so bleeping bad, so bleeping numerous, so bleeping unrelenting that I had to quit, it was just to much.
 
I have fallen for wedges. Mainly Japanese Forged Wedges, but god damn it is like porn out there.
 
If golf is about building muscle memory, why do my muscles remember only the bad shots but my mind remembers the good ones?
 
As a PGA member, I get free entry as a spectator to the Open. Obviously, we have divisional play with our club team that weekend...

don't ya just love the powers that be. our guy likes to schedule club events during section tournaments so none of us can play.

I have the yips, i only slept about 2 hours last night, and the kicker is i have a flat on the hummer, FML lol

Colds suck. Had to go get some DayQuil and NyQuil yesterday. It's better today than it was yesterday and malubaday, but not over it completely yet. Coughing up phlegm sucks too.

FYI..hitting the range at lunch in jeans and 95 degree weather SUCKS!!!
 
It was like 95 this weekend and I saw a guy golfing in jeans. He must own stock in Gold Bond. At least get out the jorts dude!

Hope you kick the cold soon, Smalls. They do suck badly. What a stupid thing to exist. There's really no point to them at all.

I didn't expect to hit the range today but Golftown said my driver was ready to be picked up and I just couldn't wait. :dohanim:
 
Well, that's as good an excuse as any. I've taken the trip to the range on my lunch before. I used to have to carry an extra shirt just in case.

I just had three clubs I was selling end on eBay and had already bid on clubs to replace the ones I was selling. Well of course, two out of three auction were won by the same person who won them at the last second, but now is backing out of the sale. Not quite sure what to do.
 
Worked with a guy that stated once "If I've stopped complaining about something..you know there is a big problem!"

I think ebay has some sort of protection for sellers in this event dont they? At least to recover posting fees?
