What are the results of irons that are 2 deg flat

You don't have to go through the expense of having clubs bent to 'standard' (or whatever). Just spend thousands on new lessons on how to play with your hands lower at address and change your swing to match the lie angle... Easy, really... :p

I knew a guy years ago that had his irons progressively more upright as the club loft increased... I think he started somewhere around 2 deg flat from what I dont know since there is no standard lie angle.

For me. it results in the irons laying flat on the ground and shots that start out more on my intended line.

If memory serves from my own fitting, I believe that a flatter lie angle will also make the length of your club, effectively, shorter.
Opposite.
