e6 never had a urethane cover as far as I can remember. The e5 did, but I’m pretty sure the e6 never was.The E6 used to be the go to value ball back when it had the urethane cover. Now they’re all mostly a wash except the matte cover
Supersoft is my runaway favorite of those three.

e6 was a great ball way back when, then they changed it and it was a lot less great.
There was e5, e6 and e7. e5 was the “high spin” urethane ball, e6 was the soft surlyn ball, and e7 was the firmer surlyn “distance” ball.I don’t remember there being an E5, but if that was the case, then that would explain a lot.
The SuperSoft matte green is really good. Best yellow/green color of any ball I've played.SuperSoft is my go to. Never played the other two, but may try the soft feel next time I have to buy balls. When I play other balls I find on the course, always feel like I’m losing height and 5-10 yards from the SS. Plus the SS matte green is the easiest for me to see especially in the evening.
