Freddie, I played Saturday and noticed 2 things with my driver. When I go after it I tend to do a couple things. Pull the ball and lose my balance. Now when I say "go after it" I mean in a controlled sense. Still taking my normal speed backswing but just trying to create more speed through the impact zone. I'd imagine that for me to pull the ball I have to be coming over the top on the way down but don't really understand why I'm off balance. Any tips or advice to be able to get at it but not be completely out of control?

If you want to add more swing speed you need to engage the left hip and make sure you chest moves over and through the hitting zone. Any time you try to gain more speed with the arms or from the top you will get out of sync and come over the top. This combined with your release will produce a pull.make sure you re swinging right of second base and trust that the arms will release the club.

which way are you falling as you loose you balance?
