I have an nearly four hour layover in Chicago. Thinking of taking an Uber someplace for lunch. Looking for some recommendations. Something “Chicago”…deep dish???

Since you will be at O'Hare. Head over to the Rosemont Gino's East and have a pie.
Its super close, right across from Rivers Casino and has good pizza.
Right down the road from there is Giordannos if you prefer to try that one.

Either one is an easy Uber ride away.

Pequods and Ginos East used to be my go to when I was traveling to Chicago on a regular basis, but its been a few years.

Gotta be Pizza. JB has you sorted! Enjoy

Yeh @JB is spot on. It is so close to Ohare it is probably your best bet! Pequods in Morton Grove is just a bit farther if you have the time.

JB is right on it. Giordano's will be closer to the on ramp going back to the Airport - Can't go wrong with either one.
Too Bad - I'm only 5 minutes from either one - Just a little north.

Portillos. Close the thread it’s the answer. Unless you really want pizza lasagna

I second Gino's East! And if you really want to be adventurous - You could take the Blue Line from O'Hare to downtown

JB has good recs. There are a lot of places near the Rosemont stop you could hit up. I don't know if I would venture mich further from the airport on a 4 hour layover.

THPers FTW

Personal deep dish x2 - sausage for me, pepperoni for the wife.

Gino’s or Lou Malnati’s pizza. Portillos if you beef or a dog. Malnatis and Portillos are a quick shot to Elk Grove from o’Hare.

I hope you grabbed some Chicago Mix from Garret's before you boarded your plane. Extra napkins as well.
