Leupold Gx-1i- battery removal?

how do I take the battery out of this model rangefinder?
 
It's on the left side of the range finder. You have to turn the spot with the slot in it.
 
On one side near the eye piece, there is a round piece with a slit in it, use a coin and turn that and the door will open to the battery compartment.
 
Didn't you just get this a while back? You gotta change the battery already?

we got it from my dads friend who is in the R&D department at leupold, he had had it for a while. The display is fading and sometime's doesn't work at more than 60 yards so I figure the battery is bad.

thanks guys, I got it out.

Ahhh.

I had to change the one in my Bushnell. Everything was reading 200 yards! hahaha
