Some time ago, I asked about having an ICD and did it affect golf. Well , since then, I have had one put in, it does not affect my golf, and it has activated to correct my heart rate, meaning it has probably saved my life.

And now there is another sportsman kitted out with a little box playing sport. Somewhat more strenuous.

Impressed at the 71 year old runner!

Interesting, With all the Myocarditis due to covid you are going to be seeing more and more of these.

My dad is 72 and had an ICD put in close to 5ish years ago after a couple heart attacks. He still plays, a lot. He had to go in and get a 'battery change' earlier this year. It's been fun calling him the energizer bunny when he's playing well and making snide comments about needing to recharge his battery when he leaves it short of the green on approach. :ROFLMAO:

I'm glad it's worked out well for you.
