Question for you ddxu. What advantage is the offset shaft option for a players putt stroke on the Si3 putter?

The offset shaft allows the hands to be ahead of the ball and still maintain the 'hide the dot' putting idea.

So does this help prevent a pull type putt or a push type putt? After re-watching Pat OBrien give Morgan a quick lesson at the PGA show this year he had her place the shaft more centered towards the zipper as a centering set up. So I'm wondering about the hands being ahead of the ball.:bulgy-eyes:

I agree, I think its just different styles. Dave Stockton is a firm believer of the hands being ahead, thats why Phil (and others) use the forward press in their strokes.
