I've noticed that my right shoulder will get stuck during the backswing. Instead of moving with the left shoulder, the right shoulder stays "frozen," which causes the club and my right elbow to get far too upright. Pulls and thin shots are the result.

I'm hoping that Mr. Kong has some insight on how to fix this. When I actively think about turning my right shoulder back, I get way too long in my swing (and usually too flat).

Seth, I am confused. How does the right shoulder only get stuck? In the golf swing the shoulder move together. You can't move one without the other.

It sounds like you are swinging with your arms and not your shoulders. I'd the left shoulder turns 90* then so does the right.

If the arms take the club back then you're limited in the amount of movement you will see.

I'd think you could also do the glove under the armpits drill. If you get too upright with your right elbow, the glove will fall, so it would force you to be aware of that.
