My wife has a 4 year old Clicgear 3.5 with orange wheels (don’t ask). Anyway this past Christmas I bought her a new Callaway Org14 cart bag which of course is grey/black with pink accents. Long story I have been asked if I can change the colour of the wheels.
Anyway I thought I would reach out to the forum in case someone may have gone down this road successfully and could offer up some advice re paints, brand, general advice and hopefully how to easily remove the rubber treads off the wheels, in order to ease spray painting. If you have ever tried this task, the inside of the rubber tread has multiple raised ridges that insert into channels on the wheel. Since the read is very very tight, I was hoping someone would have a trick to easily remove and post paint reinstall the rubber.
Appreciate any help if someone has conquered this feat. Thanks.
