Does High Finish tend to give straighter flight ?

I tend to hit hybrids more than irons. Do hybrid approach shots, generally speaking , with a high finish result in straighter flight ? (versus a slight fade )
 
Yes and no.

Perhaps a little more specific: A high finish could be a good indicator of a more inside out swing BUT also might mean you've "held off" your release and left the club open.

Best of both worlds: keep trying to finish high to promote swinging more from the inside, but make sure the back of your left hand is pointing down and not skyward at that point. This indicates that you've let the club release instead of holding the face open.
