customizing my irons

Ok, so I have the Cobra FP irons, which I love. I want to get rid of the chrome face plate on the cavity back. Here is a picture to reference what I am talking about.

I want to remove the part that says "Kind Cobra FP"

I took those badges off my MX 200's. I used my fingernail to pry up the sticker and I used goof off to get the old residue from the adhesive off. You may have to heat that up with a hair dryer a little bit.

That's exactly what I did with my 200's

I heated one up a little with a hair dryer, that did not work. I tried with a little more heat from the gas stove top and that worked......Then use some goo gone to get the adhesive off right?

Goo gone + elbow grease should work great.
