Started out wanting to create my own DB shaft to create the visual I wanted at address as well toe hang, and weight. So bought a 3/8” tubing bender and started off with just a stepless iron shaft to get the feel for the shaft but soon found out that minimal bending can be done till the walls collapse. Tried another method of heating the shaft up with a touch and had luck with a sharper bend but without structure the shaft walls fail. Did research and now will be getting sand and drying it out to fill the shaft up to give it rigidity to hold the round shape while bending. Will update once I get the sand as well as get it dried out.
