In my intro to myself thread I posted this:
I had a number in my mind of how much money I am going to throw down on these new clubs with the fittings and all that stuff. I am basically looking to replace everything in my bag. Driver, 3 wood, 3 iron on down thru wedges, and my putter. If I get a good deal, does it seem possible to get all this for around 1000$. I'm not thinking that I need the top of the line most expensive set out there. I was looking into the superluanch stuff from Taylor Made, or the Diablo stuff from Callaway. I just have no idea how much getting fitted and stuff runs.
The closest Golf Tec is in Tulsa which I would make the trip if it's worth it! Hour and half drive. There is a place in my town that does fittings, and they have some kind technology to look at your swing speed and stuff, I have never been in there so I don't for sure what they have.
I basically just want to know if it's possible to get a new set-up minus the bag for around $1000.
