Contest - True Temper DG Spinner Shafts

1. I currently play:
Cleveland CG 14 58*
Titleist SpinMilled 54*
2. I'd like to switch to a 51*, 56*, 60* set, so maybe a 56*? That's probably the one I'd use the most.
3. Sir Leudwic Von Wedger IV ---looking into doing a oil painting portrait of it with a bronze title plate underneath.
 
I don't have a set of wedges yet but I am planning on ordering a couple CG 14's after I've paid off some more of my med school loans. Hope that doesn't disqualify me.

I want to call it spin doctor but that's probably already taken, a cliche for me, & a little unoriginal so I'd call it "spinderella"

It would have to be the CG11, needs something to bring it back to life!

In the spirit of Halloween, the fact it would be going into an older CG11, and the fact that I'd get my spin back...
I'd call it the "Re-Animator"

1. I currently play Cleveland CG14, 56º, 52º, 46º, and the PW from my Burner 09 set (since it has the PX shaft).
2. I would put the True Temper DG Spinner in a new 56º wedge.
3. Sticky (like... it’s a stick that makes the ball stick!)

Another option would be to get the True Temper DG Spinner shaft colored green by Vibrant Golf, and call the club “Greenback…” But I’ll go with Sticky, since it is easier to yell after I chip it in from way off the green. :twist:

1) I have a Wilson Staff Tw9 56 and Taylormade XFT 60
2) I will probbably put it in a XFT 56(if I get it) or the Wilson Staff 56
3) I would call it Abba, because with the spinner shaft the ball would be a dancing queen.

2. I'd probably stick it in the 58* because that is my money club around the green
3. My wedge would be named Donk.

Ok... now for the explanation:
1. Donk (short for donkey) is slang used for an Impala. They are usually heaily customized and occasionally get a set of spinner rims to set them apart from the rest. This represents how the shaft and 58* loft would make that ball spin for days.
2. Crocodile Dundee II reference because I'm somewhat of a brute in size like Donk.
Denning: You shoulda brought a gun instead of a beer, mate.
Nugget: Nah. I don't need one. I got a Donk.
Denning: Got a what?
Donk: Donk.
 
1) I have an :eidolon: 52* and 56* wedge
2) I will probably put it in the 56* wedge
3) I would call my wedge Dr. Feelgood, because I am beginnging to feel more relaxed with my short game and adding this shaft I would be just what the doctor ordered.

1. I play Scratch wedges. 53* and 60* in 8620 and a Tour forged 48*.
2. I would put this in my 60*

True Temper has added this to their Facebook Page. Show them some THP spirit and let them know you like these contests.
 
1. I play XFT's 50, 54, 58
2. I woud put it on the 58 to maximize scoring and touch around the greens
3. I shall so name my wedge in true gladiator spirit since it is a finely tuned weapon... checktus maximus.

Awesome contest!! I've been racking my brain since this was anounced trying to come up with a name. (I'm not overly creative with nicknames for anything). So here's my entry:

1. What wedges do you currently play?

CG14 50
VR 56
VR 60

2. What loft would you put the new True Temper DG Spinner shaft in?

I'd go with the CG14 50 degree.

3. What will you be naming your new wedge if you win?

Dr. Greenside. Anything around the green from about 70 yards or so is usually done with my 50 degree. My short game with it (pitching and chipping) is not too terrible, but on full shots I need a bit of help. Maybe a new shaft is just what the "Doctor" ordered.... :D
