KellyBo and I are leaving this Morning (Saturday May 22nd) heading to Philadephia, Miss. We will be playing a course that is right beside the casino hotel we are staying at. Returning May 24th so we will have some pictures of the the Rabbit and one other course we are playing. I have heard good reviews on Dancing Rabbit so I look forward to putting on my "Blue Suede Shoes" and hitting the floor running :eek:)......

I have played one of those courses and like getting down there for some golf and gambling... ;-)

Thanks TC! We just got back from a huge buffet and heading downstairs for a little gambling :eek:)..

Thanks Due!!!! We are heading downstairs to the tables and slot machines to burn a few. Then up for some fun on the course tomorrow!

Enjoy the casion and win lots of money! I am interested in you thoughts on Dancing Rabbit. I have heard some great things about it and want to tee it there sometime soon.

Oh my...Gray went off with my two sister in-laws on a beer run for everyone. Four trips around the resort before they found the exit (and they were sober), then realized we're in a dry county so had to go 4 indian miles on horse back to find beer, then Charlene carried the little vase with coins up 10 floors and someone asked her if it was her purse. Had to be here to understand and appreciate just how funny their trip was.

While we were at the buffet I swear they started playing "Wise Men Say" on the intercom and a lady looking just like the indian princess walked by.

To top it all off, I got a speeding ticket driving here that is going to cost me $209. After pouting for about 10 minutes I realized I was awfully lucky because the cop didn't even see that my license expired 2 weeks ago on my birthday. I forgot to renew it! Now I can't even be the DD!

We tee off around 1:30 tomorrow. We are playing individual rounds and have to pull a certain number of points which will be calculated as a team total. The winning team will win the money. I am lucky to get to play with my two brothers and another woman I haven't met. We will have fun!

Hope you all keep having a great time. I haven't played the golf courses there (supposed to be very nice though), but I really enjoyed the Pearl River casinos when we went over there a few years ago. Way out in the middle of nowhere though...you even have to go through Starkville to get there :act-up:
 
Sounds like you guy's are having a blast. Sorry to hear about the ticket, the authorities around here know my drivers license number by heart, lol. I spend a lot of time on the road and any more they walk up to the truck and say "Come on Duey, slow your A@# down", haha
 
INDIAN PRINCESS! @ dancing rabbit! there's definitely gonna be some boar hunting after todays golf, haha.

sucks about getting a ticket kellybo, but it could've been worse. seems like there's always a beer run when gray's around, that should tell us something.

SMG - We will take alot pictures today of the Dancing Rabbit course. There are actually two courses back to back and we play the other one tomorrow. We will report on the courses more then.

We will have some photos of these two beautiful golf courses tonight. Hopefully some decent scores however the team I am on we all have to pull alot points and it's team but each individual has to pull their base points and anything over that is plus. The team with the most plus points wins the cash. With my new swing I just hope not to embarras myself :eek:)....

Yea why in the world do I always end of going to the freaking dry counties ! However it was only a horse back ride a couple more miles of the road and they had beer holders on the saddles. I guest they new old Gray was coming so they had them custom designed :eek:)....

Ok got to run downstairs, and watch KellyBO win a couple thousand and then off to the golf course for 30 minutes of chipping and putting. They say the bent grass greens here are rather quick to say the least!
 
Kelly has some great pictures today of a very beautiful golf course. She will download them when she gets back up from gambling. She is much better at the gambling than I am. I pulled all my points today and my team won first place :eek:)..... I played awful the first nine (shot 49) and played somewhat better on the back with a (43) for a 92. You will see from the pictures it was a pretty strong test of golf. I was proud of myself for sticking with my new swing. I was a bit chicken on the front side thus the high score but it started to jell on the back nine. Those bent grass greens were a bit hard to read and play! Looking forward to tomorrow and I can't wait for Kelly to post the pics of this BEAUTIFUL place!!!!! Very demanding golf course but ever so pretty. OK so I'm heading down to the casino and watch KellyBo win some more money. I love this golf resort!!!! WOW it is very first class to say the least......

If you want to check out the pictures of some of the holes on Dancing Rabbit, Azalea, here's the link. I bet this course is fabulous in the spring when the azaleas are in full bloom. They are everywhere! We saw two snakes today. One was under an azalea bush and the other was in a creek. I'm still up on the slots. Maybe I can pay that speeding ticket if I stay ahead. :) ......KellyBo

The Oaks was the second course we played and it was not as good of shape to me as the Azalea. The Azalea was in the top three courses I have ever played. Great golf, casino action sucked, but I would highly recommend anyone within driving distance of Philaphia, Miss to stay at Pearl River Resort and enjoy these two great courses and of course the gambling if that is your sort of thing. We will be going back next year unless we head south to Biloxi.... Fun for all!

A very pretty course!!! gongrats on the slot winning.. I find it hard to win at slots myself.

I played and won $15.03 after putt 10.00 in so I am happy! Heck I lost all of my measly winngs back. Not a gambler :eek:(
