Awesome. Welcome to THP. Love your set to.

No judgments, but gotta ask . . . what's with the pink "Blossom" putter cover?

Spoiler

EDIT: Oooo! And where did you get the lime green driveway markers? I've only seen 'em in orange.

welcome

Welcome to THP!

The Ranger's a good platform to build off of. When are you going to add some 38's and an Atlas to it? :D

Welcome to THP Paul.

Welcome to THP Paul. Nice clubs, and like what you've done to the Ranger. :good:

Woo! Another 16 year old.

Welcome.

Welcome to THP! Glad to have another 16 year old! Nice set, almost as good as mine . Nice putter, I've got the #2 in the bag.

Welcome to THP. Nice bag set up. I like that tour burner iron.

I love that set TnG.....

Welcome aboard, 16 yrs old....**ah, to be 16 again** (knowing what i know now of course)!

Can we keep this a gay friendly site?

Welcome tng!

That was not the right way to ask anything like that. Our site has been nothing but friendly to every type of person that has joined!

Ummm, there was no sexual preference connotation to my question at all. I just figured there was probably an interesting story behind the putter cover.

Haha Yea I dont really want to spend 60 bucks for a new headcover for my scotty. Someone stole it in the middle of the round. I was about ready to tackle this guy. But I looked at the lost and found at my work and that is the only headcover they had. Oh well I will find a different one some other time. Not gay. But I have started putting better with that head cover.

I think I am going to trade the ranger in for a full size and make money on it or I will Get a sonoma and Put 6in Superlift and 2 inch bl and the 36s

I've got a Scotty Cameron Art of Putting headcover. If you want it PM me your address and you can have it. It's used, but I just thought I'd offer.

I'll warn you now, the front suspension on any of the small GM trucks stinks. You're looking at a SAS, and coils or leafs to get any travel out of it without completely jacking the geometry.

Look at http://www.dezertrangers.com/ and also http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/ for some more build ideas.

Stay away from the mall crawler idiots, you'll wind up with something that's not driveable, on 6" lift blocks. That's death on a stick.

I've got 2 Early Broncos now, I had a Ranger when I was in high school and college. It was a 2 wheel drive model, but I put it through hell: jumping it across train tracks, full speed through deep mud, and across whoops at high speed. I learned a lot about wheeling in that little truck.

My 76 sits on 36" Iroks, with a Dana 44 front (4.88's, Detroit, Yukon Shafts, CTM joints, Dedenbear knuckles, Warn Hubs) a 9" rear (4.86's, Moser shafts, Detroit) with PSC steering (box, pump and ram), a 302 bored .30 over with a Quadrajet and Mallory ignition, C4 automatic, Dana 20 transfer case (twinsticked), PRP seats and more. It took me 4 builds to get it to where I want it.

Oh I dont have any plans to sas it. If I did do a 6 in superlift I wouldnt use the blocks.. Take the springs off something else and make it work.

I am a member over at rps. Not active though. I dont like that site that much. ranger-forums.com is so much better.

Superlift = suck-o (I also lump in Rancho, Trailmaster, Pro Comp, et-al) Take it from someone who's broken more parts than the average guy. Spend a little more up front, and you won't be replacing it in a year or two, or upset because it now rides like a dump truck.

For the same money, look into some Deaver coils and leafs. National's are a close second in quality.

Pony up for good shocks, I like the Bilstein's. I run Fox on my 76 though (I can't afford King's)

If you really want to go trick, look into the Camburg rear 4-link kit. 30+ inches of awesomeness in travel!

Dixon Brothers Racing (they make long travel 4x4 goodies for the Ranger)

Race Car Dynamics (RCD) I don't know a whole lot about these guys, but I've read decent stuff about them.

You want the ultimate in sexy suspension though? Look at Blitzkrieg Motorsports. You'll be chopping the frame at the back of the cab for a bed cage in no time. :D

Not that I have an issue with your cover but you can find Scotty headcovers for far less than 60.
