Lol Harry that is so messed up. We both had the SQ Sumo, and you got a dymo today, so Did I.

I didn't even notice. Congrats to the both of you!

What made you go with a blade in the long irons and cavity backs in the mid/short? Seems a little backwards, but hey if it works for you.....

Haha long story he traded with me. He dosent like to play long irons so I thought I would put them to better use for him.

That actually isn't a crazy idea. The one difference I have noticed in blades (at least mine) and cb's is the ballflight- my long irons come down quite soft- a lot softer than they used to. It is easier to hold greens with long irons with my current set than it was my old set- just due to ballflight.

New to me.....

New to me.....

- Went to a demo days at our local facility...
- Worked for over an hour with the Ping fitter....
- He tried to put me into a set of V2's with AWS Regulars. (~~$1200)
- Then he tried to put me in a V2 Driver with a Diamana 63 Reg shaft ($400)
- Moral of the story was that I could not afford any of the new stuff...
- What I could do was order a set of Ping G5's (pictured) with the AWS Regulars and sensicore inserts at a standard lie..(Std lie actually helps to Draw for me)
- As for the driver, I realized that I needed to get back into regular shafts....While I did not get a Diamana shafted driver, I did grab an FT-5, 11*,PL BLue Reg which I was smacking the crap out of yesterday....Actually drawing it when I wanted to as well which is TOTALLY unheard of for my swing...
- Also notice no 3W..I struggle hitting FW's off the deck....thus my corral of Nickent 3DX's

How many lefties do we have now?

I don't care who you are, that's a solid bag right there!

Thanks...Since I dont hit the 3W well at all...and when I do, I only go about 220, I would rather play my little 2H (210)... When I have to keep it low (under tree limbs, wind, etc) that is the perfect club...And since I swing it like an iron, I dont run into the troubles I do with my 3W....Someday I will get that FW working....

i know i posted a photo of this before, but that was before i had it shafted and gripped. i had this put together yesterday and it is a rare beauty. i was told only 25 of these were made by Dunlop/RG Designs (the burnt/oil/whatever-it-is version). the colors are gorgeous. it is 100% CNC milled from a forged block of 8620 soft carbon steel and weighs 350 grams. i found the head on ebay and then found the original grip on ebay a few weeks later. it wont replace my SeeMore thats currently in my bag though.

These are mine, I am thinking of dumping the irons to go for the Mizuno MX-200's. I hit them last weekend at Pin High Golf and mmmmmmm that's a tasty club!

RS She is a Damn Hot Putter my friend If you still have it at tax time next year shoot me a PM and I'll gladly take her off your hands.

If I'm not mistaken ol' John Daly used one of those Rednecks for a bit.

We sent a box of Redneck golf balls to Jacqu's former employer in California (she is more family than employer).

thanks JC! i know a guy that has a few of these "burnt" Redneck putter heads for sale. he has a "Double Wide", a "Wilbur", a "Bubba", and an "Airhead". actually i think he has a couple of each (they only made 25 each of the "burnt" versions. he used to work for Dunlop). if you want one, just PM me and I'll send you his email address. and if you want the original "Redneck" Winn grip, i have 4 extras and I will give you one.

you are correct. he used the "Bubba" model (Anser style)

I snagged a used Cleveland Launcher 13* 3W- tough find left handed and tossed a fat grip on it. I will try and get a pic up tonight- or tommorow. I was smacking that thing at the range, though. Really excited about this one.

this isnt a club but i recently picked up a new RG Designs head cover for my RG Designs-Redneck putter. its a really nice, well made headcover with metal magnets on it so you can pick it up off the ground with the club head. maybe we should start a thread with something like Show Your New Golf Related Purchases? hehe
