Kraft-Nabisco Championship [spoilers]

Juli Inkster is hilarious in those interview segments.

BL's shot was just amazing. A tap in eagle should help her....If she makes it.

All comes down to putting. Great tourny finish. Two Tampa girls too.

Congrats BL. You deserve this one.

Wow. Wow. Wow. That was the way a major should finish.

I am so happy for Brittany Lincicome. Her approach shot was amazing and so clutch.

EDIT: One other reason I was rooting for Brittany is because she was the only one of the girls in contention who had to play her entire 2nd round in the Friday afternoon wind.

That was fun to watch!

ANd she is about as nice as anybody could ever be. She gets down on herself a lot, but this one should bring her back.

Is that putter she was using a TM Kia Ma?

Incredible finish. I hope other people were flipping back and forth between the Kraft and Houston. Lincicome was just nails on 18. My hat is definitely off to her. She really deserved it!

I thought it might have been a Yes! Marilyn, but I didn't pay attention to the neck.

Great finish. Way to go Brittany.

Hi Folks - Final Report -

Beautiful day here in the desert. As mentioned, I followed Hurst, Stanford and Webb. Nice to see Pat's Mom, Stepdad and spouse following along. Lots of great golf - Pat had it going on the front 9 - but none of the 3 could make the moves required to climb the leaderboard. Angela's birdie on 17 was anti-climactic after Michelle R. had just aced it in the group in front of us. Angela was usually the longer hitter and more accurate, but never could capitalize on those plusses. Approaches always lead to long birdie attempts which frequently alluded her. Webbie's play was the best of the day, but in the end, just not good enough to launch her toward the top. I met spouse along with the throng at 18 and we watched the final play. What a thrilling conclusion - we were able to move onto the practice putting green which is slightly elevated and looks out onto the 18th between the corporate skyboxes. Just a thrill to see Brittany's win. Congrats!

I forgot to set the recoding for the final day

But congrats Brittany, she has always been one of the ladies that I root for on the LPGA. JB, it's pretty cool that you'll get to talk to her about the win some time.

Maybe get a signature for 907? :D

I do not see her very often anymore. But she trains at the same range that we do our public testing at for golf clubs, and since we are going to be there a lot over the next few weeks, I hope Ill see her once or twice.

It would be cool to get an interview with her for the site. I'd love to hear her thoughts on the course, and the tournament in general. Just an idea though.

I think it's cool that this is a bigger thread than the PGA's this week.

Granted, they'll get a big thread next week.

That was some great golf by all three women. That is the type of finish that a major deserves.

However, Brittany was most impresive:
321 yard drive, 210 yard hybrid to within 3 feet of the hole....wow.
Plus, up until Kerr's birdie on 18, the only one of the leaders who was shooting under par.
Plus, her caddie wears a Red Sox cap!

I am a big fan of Kristy McPherson now though, hope she gets her first win soon. She played some amazing golf, I can't believe how many edges she burned on her putts.

Loving the USA leaderboard.
Loving the LPGA.

Just a suggestion for those golfers who will be in contention on Sunday next year:embarrassed:....don't wear a white shirt!
