Don't look now but Tiger's putter is starting to come around. He just ran off a string of seven consecutive one putts

Wow. He's defending champ at this one, right? The hat throw was last year I believe. Anyway, it would be great to see him make it happen.

The field is in trouble if his ball striking stays solid and the putter stays hot.

He is having trouble hitting fairways today.

Ishikawa(sp?) had an epic blow up hole earlier, I don't know what he finally took on the hole but he put three balls in the drink.

Just glanced at the leaderboard. Tiger is tied for third and 1 shot back. A lot of names from years past are in the top ten.

Spoiler
Tiger's only got 20 putts through 16 holes!

That's what you want in a tourney named for Arnold Palmer, isn't it?

It's what I want in every tourney! Seems to happen early, but there is less and less of them on Sunday!

I swear those morons that insist on yelling "get in the hole" on every swing are ruining my golf watching experience. I wish they would let it be known if you are yelling anything you will be escorted off the grounds. If I was PGA commisioner for one day that would be the only rule I would implement. [/end rant]

It does get very tiring, especially on a tee off for a 500+ yd hole. Sometimes I think some of the comments are funny though. Couldn't help but laugh a few weeks back when someone yelled on Mickelsons drive "get in the water".

Yeah I remember that. Now there was a guy who needed to be escorted out.

He carded a quadruple bogey on the 6th (par 5).

I didn't realize that Philbert wasn't in the field this week.

Tiger did a little club flinging today. I don't recall seeing him do that before. Pounding? Sure. Cursing? Of course. But not club tossing.

Nice to see Jason Gore playing well again. Especially since he was one of Arnie's invites.

Man, I cant believe they showed that guy get hit in the face with the ball. That was brutal. It was at the hour and 45 minute mark if anyone is interested.

They said he was okay, but I'm not convinced. It was a serious hit.

My reaction, "Holy $%^*". I dont buy that he is ok, I dont even think he saw it coming.

Why the heck is this not being televised live? Golf Channel has it listed as their 3:00pm show.

I believe the leaders do not tee off until 1:52 today, so that could by why.

How do they come up with these tee times? Tiger is already done with 14 holes & yet players who yesterday finished in 57th place have yet to tee off?

Only Saturday and Sunday are done by rankings I believe. The first two days are done beofre the tourny starts.

It was still funny, maybe inappropriate but funny none the less.

No, I agree with you there. I laughed pretty hard at the time.

It impresses me that Brandle Chamblee always refers to Arnold Palmer as "Mr. Palmer."

Did anyone else think that Tilligman's question to Arnold about celebrating his 80th birthday year came off rather poorly?

And what's up with Scott Palmer's question to Tiger about whether style points matter on a day like today? I liked his answer quite a bit: "does it ever?"

Where are these guys getting their lines?

I fast forwarded through the Tiger interview, but I just saw the Tilghman question. I think Palmer was just teasing her.
