Okay, let's say you became a professional touring golfer. You received a club and apparel endorsement deal worth $5 million a year. You are exempt to play in any tournament you choose. The entry fees are paid for. In addition, to your endorsement deal you place in a few tournaments with winnings totaling $1.5 million for the year. What would you do?

1. Pick your coach.

2. Pick your caddy.

3. Pick your sports agent.

4. Pick you support staff.

5. Pick your transportation.

6. Pick your sponsors and build your bag and wardrobe.

7. Pick your 11 tournaments (and yes you get to play in the majors).

8. What would you do with your endorsement and tour winnings?
 
This should be fun for a lot of people. But I do hope people understand that MOST endorsement deals for the PGA players are no where near that kind of money.

Blow some of it, save most of it for a week later. hehe
 
1. Hank Haney. If he can fix Charles Barkley he can do wonders for me.
2. Anyone.
3. Don't know any sports agents, anyone trustworthy will do.
4. No clue.
5. Private jets, jetpack, fast cars. That about sums it up.
6. Sponsers can be either Bridgestone or Mizuno, so my bag would either be bridgestone stuff or Mizuno stuff. As for wardrobe, I don't really mind what I wear, I just want to be comfortable when I play.
7. I don't watch TGC enough to name 11.
8. Do all the things I couldn't do with all that money.
 
Ooooo! Fun question. I have no idea about most of this stuff (hence the waffling), but what the heck!

Clothing: Ralph Lauren (and help them design a more technical RL Polo Golf line to compete with Nike and Adidas.)

Clubs: I'm not brand loyal. I'd play whatever worked best and made the most business sense. But the front runners would be PING, Nike, and Callaway.

Ball: Whatever worked best.

Shoes: ECCO, unless one of the other companies wanted to custom make shoes for my weird feet.

1. Pick your coach- Hank Haney, he seems like a fun down to earth guy, who I would get along with well. He's also Tiger's coach so he's got something going for him in terms of teaching ability.

2. Pick your caddy- I'd have to say my friend Caleb. We get along, he's great at reading putts, and I wouldn't get bored during those 6 hour rounds.

3. Pick your sports agent- I don't know any names of agents or anything, so I'm not sure of this one.

4. Pick you support staff- Support staff? What do you mean in this situation?

5. Pick your transportation- I assume you mean how you get from tournament to tournament, so I'd have to say private jet :D

6. Pick your sponsors and build your bag and wardrobe- For clubs I would have to say Cobra.

8. What would you do with your endorsement and tour winnings? First I would make sure my family is supported, house, and car and such. But then I would save some money, and start my own course that is for kids, and kids only. It would have many tee sets, and great short game practice area, and the range and green fee's would be cheap. And if a kid is underprivileged, I would get them a set of clubs to use, and they could use the facilities for free.

That is my big goal in life. I'm going to make a run at the Tour, but if I don't make it I want to open my own golf shop, and hopefully a course like I said.

I like your idea as well. After all, you have to start as a kid, and it's hard under some circumstances.

Exactly, I have trouble's paining for green fee's and range. Now my family isn't poor by any stretch of the mind, we are upper middle class, but golf is a pretty expensive sport.

Make sure the kids are smooth and take care of the staff very well and a few things for a few friends. No BS 10% to the Make a Wish Foundation and 10% to the Ronald McDonald House.

8. What would you do with your endorsement and tour winnings? I get me a house, give my parents some money to "settle up my debt" to them, get a car or two. I'd donate some to Wounded Warriors Fund, American Diabetes Association, St. Jude's and a couple local charities. Then if there was any money left over and my accountant hadn't killed me yet I'd invest a little and probably start a college fund for my nieces/nephews/and any kids I had.
