Forum Testing Signup - The SCOR System

I find that whatever I have been looking at online starts to appear in ads on many other sites. I don't know if the sites are using tracking cookies or what, because I haven't really looked into it, but it's obviously not just a coincidence.

Jwalker please read the first post in this thread to learn how to porperly sign up for testing. There are specific instruction that one must follow to be considered for testing. As it was stated in other threads, stay active and create some bonds on THP and you will be considered just as everyone else is considered. Good luck and we look forward to reading and responding along with you.

If I post Please pick me 33 more times, I might be eligble. I would be a great tester for these becuase I am obsessed with wedges and bag setup. I have about 10 vokeys bent to varrying lofts and bounce, etc. trying to build my own scor system.

Look at what I stumbled across while looking up a number on the interweb

They are tracking your cookies. Firefox and most browsers can track the sites you view and then customize the ads that you see. It is cool to see them dropping the $$ for the ads. I think the SCOR system is going to be awesome!

I have noticed that SCOR is popping up in ads on my browser too. Really cool for the company to get their name out there.

Yeah, SCOR managed to 'wedge' their way on to a sight I visited for the first time today.:D

i hope they "wedge" their way in my bag

I have been checking out there web site and find it very interesting. I have never really thought about swapping out my 9I and PW to a club witch is more like a wedge. It would be nice to be picked to test this but if not, I would really want to see how this works in the real world from the THP members chosen.

What is the groove system or type they are using in their wedges? anything like any other manufactuer?

I didn't see anything on their web site about groves. I sent them an E-mail to see if they can at least say they are conforming. I sure they are but just didn't see it any where.

Does anyone think the almost vertical groves or laser etching(i cant really be exact) but im sure you all have seen it, will effect spin. i wonder if you have to do a out to in swing path the grooves will increase slice or hook. Just a thought. I slice from time to time and it is a concern for me

Oh Hell, there's some porn sites going to be peeved at me.

1. What wedges do you normally play?
Taylormade XFT and Burner 2.0
2. Are your clubs fit for your game?
I believe they fit pretty well but i wish i had less gap in between my scoring clubs
3. Including your PW, how many wedges do you carry?
6 wedges right now PW,52,SW,56,60,64 i also have a AW but it carries close to my 52* so its out of my bag right now.
4. What do you look for in your scoring clubs?
Accuracy and Consistency
5. Tell us about your testing plan & activity level on THP?
I play around 2 rounds of golf a week. i have been taking short game lessons about once a week. and i am at the range and chip and putt 1-2 times a week also. I have lots of free time to test these out. I am active on THP and can post daily.

That is exactly how so many people feel about a lot of these testing opportunities. It always turns out that they get it right and get a great group of people who are right for the task at hand. This one will be no different! I am excited to see who the testers will be. There is no doubt that they will do THP proud.

Spent some more time reading the website today and it's definitely interesting. The literature just makes me want to try these clubs out.

I gotta agree with you on this one hawk. I find it really interesting that someone finally put the necessary thought and technology into making a "set" of scoring clubs.

My recommendation started at my PW loft and moved up. The five wedge set had a 48 and a 52. I like that idea alot.

Definitely a great concept. Wonder why no major OEM has thought of this yet?

I would love to test these clubs, the talk about them so far is incredibly intriguing. But I am almost done golfing for the season. I have a wedding every single weekend in the month of september in which 3 of them cause me to travel. After that is october and you can never know what happens in MI falls. I will be watching this thread closely either way.
