I'm flying into Orlando this Sunday morning and would like to get some practice in that day.

Can anyone recommend some good places that would also have some demo clubs and a decent short game area?

Rumor has it THP has a ton of Demo Clubs ATM. Enjoy Orlando Staticline

I am flying into Orlando this Sunday morning also and will be playing at Orange County National in the afternoon.

It looks like they have a great practice facility. They have Taylormade rental clubs but I'm not sure what they have for demo clubs

YA. I'll be there 15-18th for a conference. and the outing is 19-22nd. I couldn't swing the extra days this year due to kids school and other family commits.

The THP outing was already full when I found out I was going to the SAP conference. I had the same idea. There are 5 of us from my company going. We have tee times at 3:30 and 3:39 on the Crooked Cat course for $36 including cart. There is probably still an open slot on one of those if you want to play with us.

Crooked Cat should be back to normal by now. We played there on Good Friday and they had just finished maintenance. Normally, that course is pristine. That day it was like playing PLINKO trying to putt. Awesome facility

Where are you staying? ONC is way out there in the middle of no where. GREAT facility but not easy to get to if your are not from Orlando. I am assuming that you are near the I-drive area. If so you have Shingle Creek Golf Course http://www.rosenshinglecreek.com/golf.asp (not far from the aeroport) You also have Grand Pines ( http://www.marriottgolf.com/leisure/golf-courses/grande-pines-golf-club/default.jsp) which is on I-Drive.

15 minutes away from the I drive area you have Falcon's Fire, ChampionsGate and Reunion. The mouse has some good courses as well. It all depends on where you are staying.

Thanks for the info. BDog hooked me up and I'll get to play golf with a fellow THP'er on Sunday.

Maybe I'll see you guys at the conference. I work for SAP and am manning the Executive Meeting center...

Got to play ChampionsGate after the conference ended. This guy tried to join our group. Pretty freaky stuff when they see you, get in the water and swim towards you. Next, he stopped and stared at us for a few seconds. Then, he went under. My cart partner freaked and said "Get the F outta here!!!"

He was at least 6 feet long.

Lots of those bad boys on the courses in south Georgia, I always give them plenty of room as they are supposed to be pretty fast for about a 30 to 40 yard burst. I am not fast for even a 5 yard burst, so I don't get close.
